Description:The primary responsibility of this position is to manage approved projects through the various project stages from initiation through completion in an efficient manner that yields consistent results. The PMP certified project manager will follow established policies and procedures and apply project management skills and techniques in performing their job, and will apply the best practices outlined by the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) and similar resources.
Duties:� Manage corporate projects from initiation through completion by receiving new projects from customers (sponsors), leading planning activities, developing project plans, communicating project plans and status to project team members and customers, identifying and helping to resolve obstacles, and recording project data such as time, cost, and status.
� Assume project team responsibilities as needed to ensure projects remain on track. (A project manager typically handles 6 � 8 medium to large sized projects at a time).

Education/Experience:
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and two years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of the system development life cycle is required in order to plan and manage software projects.

Language Ability:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Math Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Project application and productivity tools such as Microsoft Outlook and Word.

Certificates and Licenses:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required.

Hours:
The project facilitator works a set schedule of eight hour days, Monday thru Friday, beginning from 7 � 9am with one hour for lunch.
